About Lotec

Lotec is a German tuning and small-series manufacturer famous for the extreme one-off C1000 hypercar.

Founded by Kurt Lotterschmid in 1962, Lotec specialised in Mercedes-based racing and tuning. In the 1990s it built the C1000, a twin-turbo, Mercedes-powered hypercar commissioned by a wealthy client and capable of immense speed.

The Lotec C1000 is a unique car; similar bespoke builds are sourced via specialist channels.
