Gumpert was a German manufacturer of extreme, track-focused sports cars best known for the Apollo.
Founded in 2004 by former Audi executive Roland Gumpert, the company produced the aerodynamically extreme Apollo, capable of generating enough downforce to theoretically drive upside down. The firm later faced insolvency and was reorganised.
Gumpert Apollo examples are rare and sourced through European collector and specialist channels.
